Freelance Position
My client based in Tygervalley, Cape Town is looking for a Mid-level Graphic Designer on a freelance basis.
They are looking for a creative, motivated and dynamic Graphic Designer; someone with a great attitude and a true passion for creativity and visual problem-solving through innovative design and messaging.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, willing to learn and exhibit leadership potential in an entrepreneurial environment.
The client is driven by a small team of committed creatives who not only develop targeted brand strategies, striking corporate identities and beautiful publishing layouts but also use their powers to build communities through the arts.
Requirements:
- Graphic Design degree or similar qualification
- Minimum of 3 years
- Graphic Design experience
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
- Web design skills will be advantageous

- Self-leadership and the ability to take initiative
- Seeing projects through from brief to design completion
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Solid understanding of the design process and experience across the entire design lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
